| “What is Farm by Phone?” Widmer and Associates, in cooperation with Ag. Connections is offering a new service called “Farm by Phone.” Farm by phone is an advanced record keeping system, hosted by Widmer and Associates, that provides you with the timeliness and accuracy of having a data entry person on staff with a computer record keeping software program, without the hassle and expense. With “Farm by Phone”, you simply “call” in your operations and application for the day and leave a message as to when, where and what you did. Prior to the growing season, one of our consultants will meet with you to “setup” your farm in terms of inputs purchased and existing inventory. Fields are mapped and cropping plans are developed. You then simply phone in what you have done as the season goes on, providing the necessary information, and you are able to view any reports at the touch of a button via the Internet.
