Different soil types conduct electrical current differently which is collected and displayed on the Veris monitor all while being geo-referenced!  

Does this process need to be repeated every time you want a soil sample?

No, pulling the Veris through the field is a one time only application.  Your soil profile will not change over time, but fertility levels will.  Soil sample points are stored in a database for future use!

Soil sample points are placed and samples taken - all completely geo-referenced so that they can be visited again at exactly the same point for future soil sampling.
